Thursday, March 7, 2013 - Workout

The first CrossFit Open workout has been announced!  It is a tough AMRAP that looks a lot like a combination of the first two open workouts from last year.  You can read all the details on it here:

Today's Workouts: 5:30 & 6:30 PM

Warm-Up:
- Jog to Road and Back
- Complete 25 Unbroken Double Unders or 75 DU Attempts
- Joint Mobility (hips, hamstrings, and shoulders)
- 1 Round Standard Warm-Up

Strength (7 minutes after workout start time):
- Front Squat (reps and weights at gym)

Conditioning:
CrossFit Open Workout 13.1
AMRAP (as many REPS as possible) in 17 Minutes of -
- 40 Burpees
- 30 Snatches (75/45)
- 30 Burpees
- 30 Snatches (135/75)
- 20 Burpees
- 30 Snatches (165/100)
- 10 Burpees
- AMRAP of Snatches (210/120)

    Really felt like i could have done much much better on the open workout if i had been rested. I may try it again on Sunday. I made it to the 135 snatches with 6 minutes left and just hit a wall on those. I think i could do them in sub 3 minutes if i did it again with fresh shoulders.
